Working in the wedding industry, one of my most favourite things is being able to help friends through the special time of wedding planning and guiding them to find their perfect wedding gown. So I was super excited when my good friend Kate told me the news that she was (finally) getting married to her love, Eddie! Kate came to visit me in the boutique and fell in love with multiple gorgeous gowns by Ukraine wedding dress designer, Alena Leena
Just a few weeks after Kate ordered her gown (the Calathea gown), the war on Ukraine broke out, it was heartbreaking to read the updates coming from Alena’s team of the ordeals and the impact on their lives. Through the whole process, Kate was a total bride-chilla and took on the mindset, ‘it’ll all work out in the end’… and it did! The amazing team at Alena Leena got back up and running and even today are continuing to deliver our bride’s beautiful gowns! It feels extra special that we can support them and help keep their economy strong through these difficult times.
Kate’s wedding was a gorgeous day and night, brought together by some serious superstars of the South Australian wedding industry.
